Everyone tells you how fast they grow, but you can’t appreciate just how fast, until one day, you wake up and realize that your oldest is taller than you.
Then, one day you walk into your living room and find the kids looking over the family albums from when they were little and marveling at all of the memories that the photos evoke. Trust me, I’ve experienced both.
I like to joke around with kids, chat, have a snack, and take as much time as needed for the mood and moment to be just right. The moment where everyone can be themselves. Relaxed enough to forget about the camera.
