Inspiring Photography Experience

No matter the occasion, my approach is the same. All the direction you need when its required, lots of candids from the background when not. We will have a laugh and create images that you love. I get to know interesting couples every day and get to come up with different and fun ideas for their photographs. In my years of experience, I have photographed every possible weather situation, family situation, venues ranging from the mansions of Newport to a back yard in the city, ceremonies as diverse as Hasidic to Pagan. If you can think of it, I’ve shot it and loved it. 


I’m a momma to three perfect little Lamys, I speak fluent French and Arabic, I ride horses, I have an enormous collection of antique letters, I can tell you anything about Rhode Island history, I have a Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution (long story) and am incredibly bad at all math except geometry which I’m incredibly good at. I have traveled everywhere on my bucket list and more, so now I’m working on a whole new list.

I shoot weddings, family portraiture, commercial branding and headshots, as well as boudoir. 


That’s a lot, but they all require the same skillset…


  • Making people feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and guiding them to flattering poses
  • Having the experience to light various venues, people, and groups well and accurately
  • Intuition to know a perfect story-telling moment when you see it
  • The ability to think creatively under pressure
  • People tell me all the time that they've been meaning to get updated family portraits forever, or that they're on the hunt for someone to capture their special event, or that their businesses badly needs updated marketing collateral…

    My partner suffers from severe anxiety around her appearance, and reacts negatively to most photos of her. We were both  very nervous about having our wedding photographed, and apologized in advance to Zenobia Studios for what we knew would be a challenging event for them.
