When Jen and Jared first came by my photography studio to meet, I immediately knew we’d be a perfect fit. My studio is filled with random brick-a-brack from travel mementos, product samples, funky candies, little seasonal decor bits and bobs, etc. The first thing Jen noticed (after my fully stocked bar ; ) was a sweet little pair of “dia des los muertos-esque” skulls with succulents growing out of them.
“We’re having a skull theme in our wedding decor!!!” She exclaimed.
I’ve always wondered if my skulls might scare someone off, but you know how it is, I gotta do me. Come to find out, far from scaring someone off, Jen and Jared took it as a sign, and we all lived happily ever after. Suckers!
Suffice it to say, if I could create ideal clients out of thin air, and will them into being, they would look, talk, act, and drink like these two.
The decor for this wedding was stunningly beautiful, and DIFFERENT! Jen managed to create an atmosphere that was sophisticated but fun, surprising in a good way, and all-together unique. You’ll see.
There was a little threat of rain, but nothing could have derailed this party. Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the excellent food, Jared’s cigars and bourbon bar, a selfie station, freshly scooped Ben & Jerry’s, an enormous dessert display, and of course, dancing the night away.
Without further yammering… here are a few of my favorite shots…
